Our vision statement is "Strong Families in a Caring Society".
Our mission is to promote families as the primary source of nurture
and development of individuals, to promote quality services which strengthen
families and communities and to advocate policies and legislation which
advance family well-being in Canada.
Our Background
Founded in 1982, Family Service Canada is a not-for-profit, national
voluntary organization representing the concerns of families and
family-serving agencies across Canada. Membership includes family service
agencies, corporations, government agencies and interested individuals.
